Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday highlighted the ongoing economic reforms in India and urged the French business leaders to harness opportunities that the country offers.

He said this while addressing the India-France CEO forum along with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The Forum consisted of 16 CEOs from the French side and 24 from the Indian side in diverse sectors, including aviation, manufacturing, defence, technology, and energy, among others, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement.

India-France AI summit held, highlights need for ethical and inclusive AI collaboration

The La French Tech India AI Summit 2025 was recently held in Bengaluru bringing together leaders from government, industry, startups, and academia from India and France to strengthen collaboration on artificial intelligence. Organised by La French Tech India in partnership with IFCCI, Business France, the Consulate General of France in Bangalore, and CCEF, the summit reinforced the growing strategic partnership between the two countries ahead of the India-France Year of Innovation in 2026 .

France's Dassault and India's Tata to produce Rafale fuselage in Hyderabad

NEW DELHI, June 5 (Reuters) - France's Dassault Aviation (AM.PA), opens new tab and India's Tata Advanced Systems have agreed to manufacture the fuselage of the Rafale fighter aircraft in India, the companies said on Thursday, the first time it will be produced outside France.

India, the world's biggest arms importer, has been looking to step up domestic production and boost defence exports, which jumped 12% in the fiscal year to end-March, to $2.76 billion.
